Julia Sanders is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently working at Portneuf Medical Center since March 2015. Julia's professional journey includes roles at the JRM Foundation as part of a medical service trip in 2016, and as an Occupational Therapy Apprentice at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence from August to December 2014. While pursuing a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis, Julia conducted research on mild traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, while also engaging in service-learning trips that provided education and treatment to numerous clients with diverse conditions. Julia completed various fieldwork experiences at Pate Rehabilitation and Saint Patrick Hospital, further developing occupational therapy skills. Prior to a career in occupational therapy, Julia served as Company Executive Officer in the US Army, overseeing operations and personnel management. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Auburn University.
