Ashley Orr

Ashley Orr has over 12 years of professional experience in the UX field. Ashley began their career in 2009 as a Departmental Grader for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas State University. Ashley then moved on to become an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Microbiology and a Laboratory Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. In 2014, Ashley joined Progress UX Research LLC as a User Researcher. In 2015, they joined SolarWinds as a User Experience Lead and Senior User Experience Researcher/Designer. In 2021, Ashley moved to Cybereason as Lead UX Researcher and in 2022 they joined Portnox as Lead UX Designer.

Ashley Orr obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from Texas State University in 2013, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Texas State University in 2013. Ashley then went on to earn a Master of Science in Information Studies (MSIS) in UX/UI from The University of Texas at Austin in 2015. In October 2021, they obtained a Pendo Essentials certification from Pendo.io.
