Paulo Moinhos has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Paulo started their career in 2003 at Edições Gailivro where they worked in marketing for almost six years. In 2008, they joined Grupo Leya as a Brand Manager before being promoted to Marketing Director for different divisions, including Gailivro and Texto Editora. Moinhos continued their career at Grupo Almedina as the Publishing Unit Director from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Marketing Director at Porto Editora, where they have been working since February 2018.

Paulo Moinhos has a diverse education history. In 2006 to 2009, they attended IPAM, where they obtained a degree in Marketing. Following this, in 2017, they enrolled in Porto Business School to study Project Management. In 2020, they pursued various short-term courses, including Agile for Project Managers at Porto Business School, Behavioural Science for Brands at Cannes Lions School, and Creativity for Business at Cannes Lions School. Additionally, that same year, they completed the Ogilvy Master Class in Behavioural Economics at 42courses. In 2021, they obtained a certification in "Google: Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" from Coursera | Google.
