Edson Lopes

Edson Lopes has a diverse work experience in various roles at Porto and Porto Seguro. Edson started their career at Porto Seguro as an Office Assistant in February 2001. In September 2002, they joined Porto as a Human Resources Assistant, where they worked until October 2007. Edson then transitioned to the role of Risk Analyst until October 2007. Edson subsequently worked as a Systems Analyst from October 2007 to May 2012, and as a Pricing Systems Coordinator from May 2012 to November 2014. From November 2014 to March 2017, they served as an Analytical Systems Manager, and later became SR Data and Systems Manager from March 2017 to August 2020. In August 2020, they took on the role of SR Data Manager, and in March 2023, they were promoted as the Head of Data at Porto.

Edson Lopes holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Administration and Business from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in Solution Architecture from FIAP in 2011-2012. Edson also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Informatics from Uninove - Universidade Nove de Julho, which they completed from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Edson has obtained several certifications in various fields, including data management, leadership, and problem-solving, among others.
