Amy Barnicoat-Hood

Amy Barnicoat-Hood is a seasoned professional in research and content management with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Head of Research at Portobello Legal Media since July 2022, Amy has also held roles as Content Manager and Research Editor for the International Employment Lawyer. Prior to this, Amy contributed to Control Risks as Editor for Global Risk Analysis EMEA and worked as Communications Co-ordinator at Nacro. At Chambers and Partners, Amy progressed from Writer/Researcher to Deputy Editor for Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Additionally, Amy was self-employed as a Spanish Translator and taught business-oriented English with Vaughan Systems. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in English language and communication from King’s College London and a Master’s Degree in Culture, Diaspora, Ethnicity from Birkbeck, University of London.
