David Tafel

David Tafel is the CEO and Director of Portofino Resources. David has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry and has held various executive positions during their career.

Prior to joining Portofino Resources, David was the Chairman of Falcon Gold Corp from June 2012 to March 2020. David was also the CEO and Director of Garson Gold Corp from January 2007 to December 2009. David has also held various other positions including President of Piper Capital Inc from January 2006 to December 2007 and VP of Corp Development and Director of MBMI Resources Inc from January 2002 to December 2011.

David has a wealth of experience in the mining industry and has been instrumental in the success of several companies. David is a proven leader and is committed to creating shareholder value.

David Tafel's educational career includes a Bachelor's Degree in BA Economics from Western University.
