Donald Shepherd

Donald Shepherd is the Director - Financial Control at UK Health Security Agency, formerly Finance and Commercial Director at PHE, and is responsible for finance, estates, procurement, business development, ICT and Digital services as well as being one of the two “stakeholder” members of the Porton Biopharma Board.

Before joining PHE, Donald has held various senior finance positions within the NHS after starting his accountancy career in an audit and accountancy practice. Donald holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and Accountancy and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
