Diego de Paula

Diego de Paula is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in maritime and port law. Currently serving as Legal Manager and Compliance Officer at Portonave S/A since April 2011, Diego has also held significant roles such as member of the Maritime and Port Law Special Commission at the Conselho Federal da OAB from January 2019 to December 2021, and President of both the Maritime and Port Law Commission and the Customs, Maritime, and Port Law Commission at OAB/SC from January 2013 to December 2018. Previously, Diego served as Coordinator of the Legal Committee at ABTP and practiced law at the Superintendência do Porto de Itajaí and Tavares Bastos Advogados Associados. Educational credentials include multiple master's degrees in law from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Law School, Widener University, and FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, along with a bachelor’s degree in law from Universidade do Vale do Itajaí.
