Karl L.

Karl L. has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Karl started their career at Sovereign as a Treasury Coordinator in 2001 and then held roles as a Reporting Analyst and Accountant. In 2004, they joined Lion as a Commercial Analyst before moving on to Air New Zealand in 2006. At Air New Zealand, Karl held various roles, including Senior Analyst, Manager, and Senior Manager in different departments such as Commercial Performance, Strategy & Performance, and Ground Operations Enablement. In 2022, they worked at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency as the Head of Digital Performance. Currently, Karl is the Head of Strategy and Performance at Ports of Auckland, starting in 2023.

Karl L. has pursued education in the field of Accounting and Business/Management. Karl has obtained a New Zealand Diploma in Business from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. Additionally, they have received a Diploma in Management from the IMNZ - Institute of Management New Zealand. Karl has also completed a Diploma in Accounting from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, specializing in Accounting.
