Paolo Nico Villacastin

Paolo Nico Villacastin is a skilled Learning Designer currently employed at the Port of Auckland since April 2024, following a role as Instructional Designer for the N4 Terminal Operating System upgrade. Villacastin possesses extensive experience in learning design and development, having worked as a Learning Experience Designer at Mercury NZ, where online interventions were expanded to different teams, and as a Training Developer at Stats NZ, leading multiple large-scale learning initiatives. Earlier positions include Duty Manager at Auckland Climbing Gym, Nespresso Coffee Advisor at Mesh Marketing Pty Ltd, and various roles in learning and development, marketing, and market research. Paolo holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from De La Salle University.
