Renuka Rao

Renuka Rao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Renuka started their career as a Client Services Manager, Business Advisory Services (BAS) Accountant at Horwath Wellington > BDO Wellington in 2000, where they worked until 2008. Renuka then joined Manukau City Council > Auckland Council as a Financial Accountant from 2008 to 2011. Renuka then worked at Mylan New Zealand Limited in multiple contract roles as a Financial Accountant from 2011 to 2014. Renuka also worked as a Financial Accountant (Contract) at Viridian Glass New Zealand from 2014 to 2015. Renuka spent a significant portion of their career as a Financial Accountant at Auckland Council from 2015 to 2020. Renuka is currently employed as a Group Accountant at Ports of Auckland since October 2020.

Renuka Rao completed their education from 1994 to 2000 at The University of Waikato, where they obtained a Bachelor of Management Studies and a Bachelor of Laws. Their areas of study were accounting and law. In 2003, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
