Oleg Baranov

Oleg Baranov has been working in the tech industry since 2011. In 2006 they started their career as a Senior Expert of Retail Business at PrivatBank. In 2011 they moved to IC "BUSINESS-INVEST" LTD as a Head of Sales and Trading securities trader. In 2014 they worked as a Front-end Developer at Веб студия “Дизайн-проект”. In 2016 they joined SoftServe as a Python Software Engineer (Cisco). Since 2018 they have been working as a Software Engineer (Python) at Portside, Inc., where they are responsible for unrivaled data, reporting & analytics providing private aircraft owners with complete visibility into their aircraft operations and financials. Their technology stack includes Python 3/Django REST framework, ES6/ReactJS/Redux/D3JS, PostgreSQL, GIT, Jest, Enzyme, ELK, Jenkins, Docker, Prometheus, Sentry, Celery, Sanic, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and JIRA.

Oleg Baranov's education history includes a Master's degree in Marketing from the Ukrainian State Chemical Technology University, Dnipropetrovsk, which they obtained between 2005 and 2010. In 2014, they attended the Training Center SkillsUp, where they studied Java core, Java SE, and Java basic. Oleg also attended EnglisHouse, where they achieved an Intermediate level, between 2014 and the present. In 2015, they attended IT Academy SoftServe, where they studied Python. Oleg Baranov also has several certifications, including Programming for Everybody (Python) from Coursera (obtained in September 2015), Торгівля цінними паперами from НКЦПФР (obtained in October 2011), and two edX Honor Code Certificates for Introduction to Bootstrap and Learn HTML5 from W3C.
