Charlotte Gerada

Councillor, Labour Party at Portsmouth City Council

Charlotte Gerada is an accomplished policy and public affairs professional with extensive experience in political advocacy and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as the Policy & Public Affairs Manager at the Huntington's Disease Association since August 2022 and as a Portsmouth City Councillor since May 2021, Charlotte is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions for Portsmouth by 2030. Previous roles include National Women's Officer for The Labour Party, where Charlotte led initiatives to support women in elected positions, and Public Affairs Manager at Shelter UK, where campaign strategies and stakeholder relations were managed. Educational qualifications include a degree in Global Governance and Ethics from UCL and a degree in Social Policy with Government from the London School of Economics.
