Jean Riches

Jean Riches currently serves as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Portsmouth City Council, overseeing a diverse portfolio of capital and revenue projects while providing strategic support to Senior Responsible Officers and Directors. In a previous role as Bid Officer, Jean worked closely with the Bid Manager to identify and assess funding opportunities aligned with departmental priorities. Before joining Portsmouth City Council, Jean accumulated over 25 years of experience at IBM in various roles, including Bid Coordinator, where responsibilities involved supporting the sales organization and ensuring client deliverables met expectations. Jean holds a Diploma in Theatre from the City of Portsmouth College.
