Peter Shipley

Peter Shipley serves as a Special Advisor to the New Hospital Programme UK at NHS England, providing strategic guidance for one of the largest hospital build initiatives globally. As Independent Chair of the Joint Planning and Assurance Group for Portsmouth Water Limited, oversight of the Havant Thicket Reservoir project is maintained. Previous experience includes roles as Executive Programme Director at AECOM, where efforts were directed towards the LA28 client team, and as Executive Project Director for Etihad Rail at Jacobs, managing substantial railway projects in the UAE. Shipley also held significant positions in the delivery of the Thames Tideway Tunnel, was involved in the London 2012 Olympic Games infrastructure, and contributed to major telecommunications projects across Europe. Shipley’s educational background includes a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
