Simon Deacon

Simon Deacon is a highly experienced Environmental Hydrogeologist with over 10 years of regulatory expertise in UK Hydrogeology, pollution prevention, and groundwater management. Currently serving as the Catchment & Environment Manager at Portsmouth Water Limited since June 2019, Simon previously held the role of Technical Specialist in Groundwater and Contaminated Land with the Environment Agency from November 1998 to June 2019. Simon's extensive skill set includes environmental protection, quantitative risk assessment, and sustainable urban drainage systems, complemented by a strong foundation in site investigation and characterization. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Environmental Geology from the University of Portsmouth.
