Edwin YEN

Edwin YEN has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Edwin began their career as an Intern at the United Ship Design and Development Centre and China Corporation Register of Shipping in 2008. In 2009, they were the Chief Engineer of LCM and Navy Ensign at Taiwan Navy. In 2013, Edwin was a Research Intern at ARMINES, where they worked on Material and Processing Engineering with a project funded by ANR, ARMINES, and ENSMSE. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Schneider Electric as a Key Account Manager, where they successfully grew personal sales by more than 600%. In 2018, they became the Head of Business Strategy and Senior Business Development Manager at COBINHOOD, Ltd. Since 2019, Edwin has been a Co-founder and COO at Blocto (portto) and a Partner and CEO at DEXON Capital & Lab.

Edwin YEN began their education in 2005, when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering from National Taiwan University. In 2010, they returned to the same university to earn a Master of Science in Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering, as well as a Master of Science in Fluid Mechanics/CFD/CAD. In 2011, they attended the Institute of Design at Stanford, but did not earn a degree. In 2012, Edwin earned a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne.
