Giel van de Wiel

Giel van de Wiel is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics. As a Senior Data Scientist at PortXchange since September 2022, Giel is currently focused on enhancing data-driven products. Previously, Giel served as a Senior Data Scientist and Development Data Scientist at Coolblue from August 2012 to February 2022, where significant contributions included improving an in-house recommender system and engaging in full-stack development. Giel founded keepitwiel communications, a boutique record label, in October 2021 and has a diverse background that includes roles as an Independent Data Consultant and Data Analyst. Giel holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology.
