Matthew Garrett is a seasoned data scientist currently employed at PortXchange since April 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a PhD researcher at Jheronimus Academy of Data Science from January 2018 to April 2022 and worked as a transportation network analyst at DHL from February 2016 to December 2017, where responsibilities included analyzing logistics networks and optimizing processes. Earlier experience includes working as a research executive at TNS Opinion in Brussels, managing large-scale survey projects and developing ETL processes, and providing instructional design support at the University of Florida. Matthew holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Statistics and a Master’s in Economics from KU Leuven, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Florida.
