Alan Hughes has extensive experience in sales and business management spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Business Manager for Vyon Porous Plastics at Porvair Sciences since February 2018, Alan also held the position of Account Manager for Porous Materials. Previous roles include Account Manager for Bioscience at Porvair Filtration Group from April 2004 to January 2021, Sales Development Manager at Global Filters Ltd, and Sales Manager at Elford Plastics Ltd. Alan's career began as a Technical Sales Engineer at Porvair Filtration Group and included an apprenticeship as an Aeronautical Engineer at Airbus. Alan holds an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Wrexham University and is a graduate of Clywedog High School Wrexham.
