Joshua Rychak has a diverse work experience starting from 2006. Joshua worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Following that, they became the Vice President for Research and Development at Targeson, leading R&D efforts until 2016. Joshua then served as a Scientific Consultant from 2016 to 2017. From 2011 to 2018, they held the role of Affiliate Professor of Bioengineering at UC San Diego. Currently, they are with Poseida Therapeutics, Inc., where they have held various roles from Director to Vice President in the fields of nanotechnology and gene therapy.
Joshua Rychak completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science with a minor in Philosophy at the University of Virginia in 2000. Joshua went on to earn a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the same university in 2005. Prior to their university education, they attended the International School of Islamabad followed by West Springfield High School.
