Matthew Throop

Matthew Throop has a diverse work history in facilities engineering and metrology. Matthew held roles such as Associate Director, Sr. Manager, and Manager in companies like Poseida Therapeutics, Pacira Pharmaceuticals, and Vical Inc. Matthew started their career as a Facilities Technician at K Force and Calibration Consultants before progressing to higher-level positions. Throughout their career, Matthew has shown a strong focus on calibration, maintenance, and management of equipment in various industries.

Matthew Throop completed their general studies at Patrick Henry High School from 1998 to 2002. Matthew then pursued Business Management at San Diego Mesa Community College in 2002 and Grossmont Community College from 2003 to 2007. Most recently, they obtained a Facilities Management Certificate in Facilities Management from UC San Diego Extended Studies between 2015 and 2019.
