Thomas Van Riper

Thomas Van Riper has over three years of professional work experience. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Proprietor/Developer at Kwike Chat LLC, where they published an Android messaging application written in Java and built a back end server with Node.JS, PHP, and Socket IO. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Sound Credit Union as a Development & Architecture Manager, Senior Developer, and Integration Developer. In this role, they designed and implemented a front-end web application with Angular, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, developed RESTful APIs with MuleSoft and SpringBoot, and utilized a CI/CD pipeline with a Docker environment for rapid development and deployment. Currently, they are a Core Integration Engineer at Posh Technologies.

Thomas Van Riper began their educational journey in 2014 at Tacoma Community College, studying Computer Software Engineering. Thomas then transferred to the University of Washington Tacoma in 2015 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Software Engineering in 2017.
