Carson Sievert

Carson Sievert is a Senior Software Engineer at Posit PBC, where contributions include co-creating Shiny for Python and developing several R packages. Previous roles include Principal Engineer at Sievert Consulting and Research Scholar at Monash University. Carson has also served as a Lecturer at Iowa State University and held positions at Google and the Statistics Research Department at AT&T Labs. Educational background includes a PhD and M.S. in Statistics from Iowa State University, as well as a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Saint John's University.
