Garrett Grolemund

Garrett Grolemund is a highly experienced professional in data science and education, currently serving as Director of Developer Relations, Director of Learning, Principal Data Science Educator, and Data Scientist at Posit PBC since September 2012, where responsibilities include promoting R and educating R users. Garrett has also contributed to the academic field as a Data Science Advisory Board Member for American University's Master's program from September 2018 to January 2024. Previous roles include instructor positions at Rice University and Statistics.com, along with research fellowships and instructor roles at renowned institutions like UCLA and Harvard University. Garrett holds a PhD in Statistics from Rice University and both an M.A. and B.A. in Statistics and Psychology from Harvard University, respectively.
