Joe Cheng is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software development and engineering. Serving as CTO at RStudio PBC since September 2009, Joe Cheng has been instrumental in creating a powerful, intuitive browser-based IDE for the R programming language, along with the Shiny web framework and RPubs document publishing service. Prior to this role, Joe Cheng held positions at Microsoft as Senior Development Lead and Senior Software Development Engineer, contributing to the development of Windows Live Writer.
