Upromise is a U.S. loyalty program that provides credit for college students and family members to make it easier to pay for college. Upromise members accrue credit on eligible purchases from Upromise partners. The partners include groceries, gas stations, restaurants and online retailers. The points earned can then be used to pay for collegeexpenses, like tuition and loans.Upromise was co-founded in 2000 by Michael Bronner, David Fialkow and Jeff Bussgang. The company is owned by SLM Corporation and is based in Newton, Massachusetts.
