Lisa May, PhD ACSM CSPO, currently serves as a Workflow Coach at RStudio PBC, a position held since June 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Scrum Master at Thermo Fisher Scientific from October 2020 to April 2022, where Lisa contributed to enhancing customer satisfaction by improving team velocity and engagement. At the University of Oregon, from September 2010 to October 2020, Lisa held multiple positions, including Assistant Director of Operations, Scrum Master/Product Owner, and Scientific Researcher, effectively introducing scrum methodology, facilitating research teams, and producing technical documentation. Lisa holds a PhD in Social Neuroscience and Pain Psychology from the University of Oregon, a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry & Physics from Eastern Washington University, and an Associate of Fine Arts in Painting & Sculpture from Spokane Falls Community College.
