Ryan Johnson

Ryan Johnson is a Data Science Advisor at Posit PBC since March 2020, where responsibilities include enhancing data science capabilities for customers and leading numerous workshops and webinars. Prior experience includes roles as a Customer Success Manager and Research Scientist at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, focusing on gastrointestinal disorders and their impact on gut microbiota, as well as postdoctoral fellow positions at the National Institutes of Health and The Henry M. Jackson Foundation, where research centered on antibiotic-resistant organisms. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Uniformed Services University and a B.S. in Biology from Juniata College, alongside leadership as Graduate Student Council President during graduate studies.
