Shannon Hagerty

Shannon Hagerty is a Solutions Engineering Manager at Posit PBC, having initially joined the company as a Customer Success Representative and later transitioning to the role of Solutions Engineer since October 2019. Prior to this, Shannon served as a Science Librarian at Brandeis University, where workshops on R and Python were created and consultations on data analysis projects for researchers were provided. Shannon’s research experience includes a position at UC Santa Barbara focused on enhancing soil carbon models with microbial physiology and conducting experiments on microbial carbon allocation, as well as a Research Assistant role at Northern Arizona University that involved studying temperature effects on soil carbon cycling. Shannon holds a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology from UC Santa Barbara, a Master of Science in Biology from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Villanova University.
