Ted Laderas

Ted Laderas currently serves as the Director of Training & Community and Data Scientist at Fred Hutch since February 2024. Laderas has also held the position of Data Science Mentor at Posit PBC since February 2022 and previously worked as a Bioinformatics Trainer at DNAnexus from May 2021 to December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Professor, Instructor, Postdoctoral Researcher, and NLM Postdoctoral Fellow at Oregon Health and Science University from April 2014 to May 2021. Laderas was a Visiting Scientist at Sage Bionetworks from June 2014 to March 2015 and worked at OHSU from 2003 to April 2014 as an NLM Predoctoral Fellow and Bioinformatics Developer. Laderas earned a PhD in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Oregon Health & Science University in 2014, an M.S. in Biomedical Informatics from the same institution in 2003, and a BA in Physical Chemistry from Reed College in 1998.
