Zach Hannum

Zach Hannum is a highly skilled software engineer with experience spanning over a decade across various companies and roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Posit PBC since October 2022, Zach previously held positions at Garmin as a Software Engineer II, focusing on mid-level and frontend functionalities for fitness products. Prior to Garmin, valuable experience was gained at Plexus Corp., also as a Software Engineer II, working on embedded projects and developing software across the development lifecycle. Zach co-founded Best in the Verse Audio, which specializes in high-end audio cables, and Kast Clothing, a tech-driven apparel company that enhances clothing fit through innovative technologies. Zach's early career included an internship with the North Carolina State University Entrepreneurship Initiative and participation in the NC State Andrew's Launch Accelerator. Zach earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University.
