Bob Baxter

Bob Baxter has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Bob began their career in 1990 as a professional baseball player for the Montreal Expos Baseball Club, where they played for over seven years at various levels. In 1998, they transitioned into the finance industry, joining Silicon Valley Bank as a Managing Director in Private Client Services, where they built relationships with venture capitalists in Silicon Valley. Bob then moved on to SVB Financial Group in 2009, taking on the role of Associate Director in Segment Strategy, where they were part of a task force responsible for reinvigorating the bank's Private Bank. Bob eventually left this position in 2013. In 2017, Bob became a Board Member for the Menlo Atherton High School Foundation for the Future. Most recently, in 2018, they joined the Positive Coaching Alliance as part of their Leadership Council.

Bob Baxter attended The Roxbury Latin School from 1982 to 1986 and obtained their High School Diploma. Bob then went on to study at Harvard University from 1986 to 1990, although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned. In 2005, Bob obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
