Jodie McGarity has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in sports coaching and mentoring. Jodie is currently serving as the Basketball Director at Austin Royals since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a BioHacking Distributor at LifeVantage Corporation from 2018 onwards.

Jodie has also worked as a Workshop Facilitator at Positive Coaching Alliance since 2016. In 2008, they founded Texas Disciples Sports & Fitness, LLC, where they trained and mentored young athletes to excel in their sports. Jodie also served as a Volunteer Mentor, Tutor, and Coach at S.T.A.N.D. Foundation from 2004 onwards.

Additionally, Jodie held the position of Basketball Director and Head Coach at Central Texas Saints from 2018 to 2022. Jodie was the Basketball Trainer and Camps Director at The Premier Athletic Complex (The PAC) from 2013 to 2018. In this role, they focused on brand development, web traffic growth, and strategic consulting.

Jodie's earlier experience includes working as the Head Varsity Boys Coach at Austin Royals Home School Sports Organization from 2008 to 2018. Jodie also served as a Transport Officer at Travis County from 2006 to 2011, where they provided supervision and counseling to juvenile clients in the justice system. Prior to that, they worked as a My Hero! Mentor Service Specialist at River City Youth Foundation from 2006 to 2010, where they recruited and matched mentors for at-risk youth in the Dove Springs community.

Jodie McGarity began their education at Temple College in 1994, where they studied Biology, General. Jodie attended Temple College until 1996 and then transferred to California State University-San Bernardino. At CSUSB, Jodie continued to study Biology, with a focus in Psychology. Jodie was enrolled at CSUSB from 1996 to 1997. Lastly, Jodie attended Huston-Tillotson University from 1997 to 1999, where they studied Biology, General.
