Yami Joshi is a skilled Development Client Coach at Positive Development since October 2024 and the founder of beatroot dance, initiated in September 2022 to create a safe space for embodied awareness and non-verbal expression through dance. With experience as a Dance Therapy Graduate Intern at Child Adolescent and Family Services (CAFS) Sri Lanka, Yami has collaborated with Dr. Lori Baudino's Global Therapists initiative. Prior roles include Early Childhood Interventionist at Coyne & Associates Education Corp., Learning Systems Architect at Chainalysis Inc., and Specialist in Learning & Development at The Trade Desk. Yami has also contributed to organizational development at UPS and participated in leadership initiatives such as being the Membership Chair for Next OnBoard and delivering a TED talk. Yami holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and is pursuing dance therapy certification at Kinections.
