David Smith is an experienced professional in digital production and account management, currently serving as Team Leader for Digital Production and Online Support at Positive Partnerships since April 2021, where the focus is on supporting parents and educators of school-aged children on the autism spectrum. Prior roles include Senior Account Manager and Freelance Account Manager at Williams Lea Tag, which specializes in marketing production, and positions at MYOB, Births Deaths & Marriages Victoria, and ServicePoint UK, where David contributed significantly to client relations and account growth. David's career began with a solid foundation in marketing services at Communisis PLC and is supported by a BA Hons in Multimedia Design from De Montfort University.
Positive Partnerships
Positive Partnerships is a national project funded by the Australian Government Department of Education through the Helping Children with Autism program. We’re delivered by Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect). We deliver high-quality professional learning and resources through workshops, webinars and online modules for parents, carers and school staff. This strengthens their capacity to support and advocate for young people on the autism spectrum. Since our launch in 2008, we’ve delivered workshops around the country to more than 7,000 teachers and school staff, and more than 13,000 parents and carers. We also facilitate a range of webinars and provide quality online learning modules via our Online Learning Hub. Our website contains extensive information sheets and resources on a range of topics to support all families in our community.
