Thomas Sohmers

Thomas Sohmers is an innovative technology leader with extensive experience in founding and leading companies in the computing and hardware sectors. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Positron AI since March 2023, Thomas previously held the position of Director of Technology Strategy at Groq, where efforts focused on simplifying computing solutions. Prior roles include Principal Hardware Architect at Lambda, where responsibility encompassed hardware specification and datacenter infrastructure design, and Co-Founder and CEO of REX Computing, which developed a novel programmable processor architecture. Thomas was also a Thiel Fellow and engaged in research at the MIT Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies. Educational background includes attending Advanced Math and Science Academy.
