Silvia Velasquez

Silvia Velasquez has extensive experience in marketing and business development. Silvia is currently the Director of Marketing And Business Development at Posse Herrera Ruiz since April 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at Gulland Padfield from October 2014 to October 2017, where they specialized in market strategy and client relationship development. Silvia also served as the Marketing Director at Prieto & Carrizosa Abogados from August 2010 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, Silvia was a Founding Partner at Professional Online from September 2000 to June 2002, and a Sales Manager at Seadco S.A. from 1991 to 1994.

Silvia Velasquez pursued their education with a focus on business administration and engineering. Silvia started their educational journey in 1971 at Colegio Nueva Granada, where they completed their primary and secondary education. Later, from 1986 to 1991, Silvia attended Universidad de Los Andes, earning an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering. Concurrently, they spent two years, from 1988 to 1990, studying humanities at the University of Vermont. Finally, in 1994 and 1995, Silvia pursued an MBA degree in Business Administration at Imperial College London.
