Senior Software Engineer at Possible Finance

Evan Francis has a diverse work experience in software engineering and entrepreneurship. Evan started their career as a Front End Web Developer Co-op at RoomioTV in 2012, where they built front ends for applications to be deployed on TV screens and also developed the company's public-facing website. Evan then transitioned to a Back End Web Developer Co-op role at RoomioTV in 2013, where they designed and built the back end for an internal hardware statistics tracking website and developed a daily email statistics reporting system for customers.

In 2014, Evan joined Intuit as a Software Engineer Co-op, where they focused on front end web development for the TurboTax website Finish and File team. Evan maintained the TurboTax online single page application using various JavaScript frameworks and libraries, and built responsive front end web pages using CSS and Bootstrap.

In 2015, Evan became a Senior Software Engineer at Intuit and worked on software engineering and project planning for a team developing solutions for internal tooling and developer productivity. Evan designed and implemented solutions that increased efficiency and output of internal engineering teams, and also developed Judo, an open-source Command Line Interface (CLI) integration testing framework.

In 2017, Evan co-founded Lunafi and served as the CEO. Evan later founded Coygo in 2018, where they held multiple roles as CEO, Founder, and Lead Applications Engineer. At Coygo, they co-founded the company, served as CEO, and focused on the architecture and development of real-time digital asset trading tools, including high-performance front-end experiences in Vue and React, back-end services in Node.js and MongoDB, and custom DSL development.

In 2020, Evan joined Atticus as a Lead Software Engineer, where they led engineering efforts on multiple consumer-facing and internal applications. Evan worked on full stack architecture and development using technologies such as Node.js, Vue, React, PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.

Most recently, Evan joined Possible in 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Evan Francis obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in New Media Interactive Development, with a minor in Game Design & Development, from Rochester Institute of Technology. This educational journey lasted from 2010 to 2015.
