João Paulo Bassinello has over 13 years of professional experience in software engineering. João Paulo began their career in 2007 at Ci&T as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for delivering code with quality and acting as a technical focal point for developers, primarily using JAVA. In 2012, they were promoted to Head of Technology at TecSinapse, where they mentored teams of 30 developers and was in charge of the technical recruitment process. In 2014, they took on a side-project consultant role as a Principal Engineer at Instituto Ayrton Senna, where they led the development of an application to assess children in Brazil, which has assessed more than 200,000 students. In 2018, they took on a side-project Software Architect role at Youcanevent, where they worked closely with the CTO to redesign the whole product architecture and platform to support company growth. João Paulo also founded ctrl/s in 2013, a solution to help customers with social media monitoring and brand analysis, which they developed entirely with JAVA language and open-source frameworks. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Possible, where they are responsible for driving complex implementations and foundation work across teams to improve good practices and the technology stack.
