Sara Peters

Sara Peters currently serves as a Consultant at vChief since October 2022 and has been a Team Partner at Possip since 2017, focusing on enhancing school-parent engagement. From February 2022 to June 2024, Sara held the position of Associate Chief of Staff at the Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity, where responsibilities included managing strategic initiatives related to educator preparation at Minority Serving Institutions. Sara also acted as Partnerships Lead for Project IDEA in 2023, overseeing a custom-built Case Management solution for educational entities. Previous experience at Teach For America spanned from 2003 to 2017, encompassing various roles including Manager of Non-Profit Outreach and project management positions, contributing to increased diversity and partnership development in educational recruitment. Sara holds a Bachelor's degree in Plan II Honors/History from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2003.
