Jerry Micco

Jerry Micco possesses extensive experience in sports journalism, currently serving as the Senior Assistant Managing Editor/Sunday at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette since January 2016. Prior to this role, Micco worked with the Associated Press Sports Editors as AME/Sports at the Post-Gazette from March 2004 to January 2016. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Managing Editor/Sports at the Contra Costa Times from May 1997 to February 2004, and at the Daily Press from 1989 to 1997. Jerry Micco holds an Associate’s Degree in Mass Communications/Journalism from Penn State University, earned between 1974 and 1979.
