Lucy Liu has a extensive and diverse work experience in finance and leadership roles. Lucy is currently serving as the CFO & COO and a founding member of a company called "Post.". Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Swiftly from 2021 to 2022. From 2015 to 2021, Lucy served as the CFO of Waze, a mid-stage startup that was acquired by Alphabet in 2013. At Waze, they were responsible for all aspects of finance, including FP&A, controllership/accounting, company strategy, planning, and internal fundraising. Before joining Waze, Lucy worked at Google from 2012 to 2015, where they held the role of Finance Lead in the Global Business Organization. Lucy also worked as a Principal Account Manager in Advertising Sales at Google during this time. Lucy has a strong educational background, having pursued an MBA from Kellogg School of Management from 2011 to 2012, where they focused on expanding their business knowledge in marketing, sales, and digital media. Lucy also gained hands-on experience through consulting projects. Prior to their MBA, Lucy worked at Microsoft from 2006 to 2011, starting with their Finance Leadership Development Program and holding various finance roles including Midwest District Finance Manager and Sr. Business Analyst. Lucy Liu attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing, Organizational Behavior, and Media Management at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2011 to 2012.
