Gahngnin Kim has worked in various roles since 2014. Gahngnin began as an Interpreter for the Worcester Korean United Methodist Church in 2014. In 2016, they worked as Support Staff for Quinsigamond Community College. The following year, they worked as a Campus Ambassador for the same college. In 2018, Gahngnin began working as a Student Developer at Gordon College. In this role, they maintained the 360 student portal (360.gordon.edu) of the College by fixing and reporting bugs and reviewing codes of peers. In 2019, Gahngnin worked as a Research Assistant for the Republic of Korea (South Korea) government project, doing cross-border preliminary research for developing new construction fire safety laws and systems in South Korea, as part of a long-term project for the advancement and assurance of construction material quality. Gahngnin wrote detailed reports about fire standards, U. Currently, Gahngnin is working as a Software Engineer for Postalytics.

Gahngnin Kim attended Gordon College from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Minor in Economics.
