Svetoslav Petkov

Svetoslav Petkov has extensive experience in IT and cybersecurity, currently serving as a Senior IT Security Officer at Postbank (Eurobank Bulgaria AD) since April 2004, where responsibilities include leading cybersecurity projects and developing policies and strategies. From 2011, Svetoslav has also held the position of Head of Technical Infrastructure, overseeing the technical infrastructure of the organization. Prior to this role, Svetoslav was Head of the IT Supervisor's Group at Bulgarian Post Bank from 1998 to 2004, managing local core banking systems and implementing key projects such as IP telephony. Additionally, Svetoslav was Managing Director of SPPLC "PULS-5" from 1990 to 2003, focused on electronic equipment research and development, and served as an Engineer-Constructor at ZENA from 1987 to 1993, leading significant product development projects. Svetoslav holds a Master of Engineering degree in Communication Engineering and Technologies from the Technical University of Varna.
