The Postcode Lottery Group is an international company with a social purpose, bringing together business and ideals. It initiates and operates Postcode Lotteries with a mission to contribute to a fairer, healthier, greener world by supporting charities and initiatives, from smaller local projects to international organisations.

Today, a community of 14 million people across five European countries enjoy playing for attractive and exciting prizes like the weekly street-prize. Using their postal codes (zip code) as ticket numbers, neighbours win together in monthly draws, currently with a minimum of 30% percent of the ticket price going to charity. Our subscription based lotteries are a safe game of chance. We create fun and special celebrations for our players and winners, all while raising money for a better world.

The Postcode Lottery Group has become the 3rd largest private donor in the world, after the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Wellcome Trust (2021). A total of over €12.6 billion has been donated to charities so far. Every day of the year, we raise €2.3 million for charities (total revenue in 2022 of all the Postcode Lotteries: €2,4 billion). We are empowering change-makers by providing flexible, unrestricted long-term funding to our charity and cultural partners. It allows them to address those needs they feel are most relevant and urgent.

Postcode Lottery Group is a private company, fully owned by a non-profit foundation. Our team of 1500 colleagues work across Europe in our welcoming offices in Amsterdam, London, Edinburgh, Stockholm, Dusseldorf and Oslo, and are joining forces every day to develop the Postcode Lottery’s magic.
