Emily Ripka

Emily Ripka is the Head of Product at PostEra. Previously, they were a Research Scientist at Canon Medical Research USA, Inc. from December 2019 to November 2020. There, they developed new product features for MRI scanners, focused on development of image reconstruction software. This included prototype scripts in python and matlab, as well as porting these scripts to product code architectures in C++. Emily also conducted testing and image quality analysis of product feature images. Prior to their work at Canon Medical Research USA, Inc., Emily Ripka was a GAANN Fellow at Syracuse University from August 2016 to November 2019. There, their work focused on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, lead halide perovskite and Cadmium Selenide quantum dot synthesis and purification, UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD). Emily is an expert in the Python programming language and has extensive experience in Git version control and web development. Emily Ripka has also authored and co-authored several publications and poster presentations.
