Thomas Jakob

Thomas Jakob has extensive experience in leadership and innovation within the financial and technology sectors. Currently serving in multiple roles at PostFinance since November 2012, including Head of Sustainability and Chief Business Officer of Platform Business, Thomas has also co-founded and led Valuu from February 2019 to October 2023. Prior roles include Strategic Project Manager at HACO AG, where Thomas was integral in establishing a coffee plant in Malaysia, and various strategic and innovation positions at Swisscom. Thomas holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and has pursued additional executive education at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering was earned from Berner Fachhochschule BFH.
