Brett Gibson

Brett Gibson is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. Currently serving as Managing Partner, General Partner, and Partner at Initialized Capital since May 2017, Brett has also co-founded Posthaven, a platform for easy blogging, since March 2013. Previous ventures include co-founding Posterous, which was acquired by Twitter, and Slinkset, funded by Y Combinator. Additionally, Brett worked at Y Combinator in a software capacity, contributed as a developer at Sonific, LLC, and co-founded Occasional Good Idea Co. with a focus on web-based drawing tools. Early career as a Software Engineer at Grand Central Communications rounds out a robust professional background. Brett holds a BA in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara.
