Tait Foster has a varied work experience spanning different roles and industries. They started their career in 2009 as a Research Assistant for Carne Ross. In 2011, they worked as a Political Engagement Coordinator for the New York Immigration Coalition and later as a Grants Manager/Staff Assistant and District Representative for the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2012, they served as a Research Assistant for Jay Inslee For Governor. From 2013 to 2014, Tait worked as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at the EastWest Institute. In 2014, they joined Bloomberg LP, initially as an Executive Assistant and later taking on roles as Product Manager, Interim Deputy Managing Editor, and Senior Product Manager. In 2018, Tait joined New York Magazine as a Senior Product Manager and then moved to The Tuesday Company as Director of Product and eventually Chief Product Officer. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Director of Product Management at Helm. Currently, Tait works at Postlight as Lead Strategist, and in 2022, they are expected to take on the role of Associate Director, Digital Strategy.
Tait Foster attended Sarah Lawrence College from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science, History, and Religion. They then pursued further education at King's College London from 2009 to 2010, earning a Master of Arts degree with Merit in International Conflict Studies.
In addition to their formal education, Tait Foster holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification obtained from the Scrum Alliance in December 2020. They also obtained a certification in Data Analytics from General Assembly in July 2019.
